Moringa and Depression
Posted by Mark Lubbe on
Depression varies from person to person in severity, type, symptoms and cause. We recommend that you follow the instructions from your doctor at all times and that you do stop any treatments, be they medical or therapeutic. We also recommend that you do not self diagnose and that you seek help from others and most importantly tell someone if you have not already.
Depression can be caused by a number of factors, such as job stress, family stress, child problems, spouse problems, tension, obesity, financial burdens, bullying, and malnutrition.
How can Moringa help?
Depression caused by nutritional deficiencies can be tackled with a daily consumption of Moringa Oleifera leaf powder. Modern society has seen a real increase in depression. It will be experienced by 1 in 4 people, but Moringa could be a step towards reducing what has become worryingly common place. Moringa can do wonders. It will not only tackle depression, but also energise the body and boost your mood. Moringa has its own extraordinary benefits. It should be consumed regularly and the results will be noticed within a few days to a week and for some it can be a life changing antidote.
Teenagers and young adults are more likely to suffer from chronic and acute depression, and many dietitians and doctors point toward modern eating habits, lack of exercise and modern lifestyles as some of the causes. Other factors such as peer pressure, academic overload, over-strict and relentless parenting, inferiority complexes, dominating and overpowering teachers etc can exacerbate the state of depression. In more severe and advanced cases, those affected can develop suicidal tendencies, which can be life-threatening. Moringa users believe that some cases of depression can be cured in its early stages, without the help of medications, which can often have their own life changing side effects.
Moringa can greatly help by reducing the physical exhaustion, revitalising and energising the body. Moringa is the most nutritious plant on the planet and our Moringa Oleifera Trees are harvested organically and fairly from our farm in Nicaragua. The Moringa leaf should be used like a food supplement and simply sprinkled onto your meals. It is packed with calcium, potassium, iron and vitamins A, B, C and E and numerous other antioxidants. It contains almost 92 nutrients. It can boost up the immune system and greatly benefit a person suffering from depression. It also naturally lifts moods, making a sufferer happier, less anxious, less lethargic and it produces non-sugar based natural long-lasting energy. An increasing number of teenagers also suffer from eating disorders and Moringa will help re-balance nutritional deficiencies caused anorexia and bulimia as well as tackle the causes of the disorders.
If depression is untreated or neglected, it can sometimes lead to severe cases of ‘clinical depression’, a term used for people who suffer from life-threatening episodes of immense depression. If you believe you are suffering from server or clinical depression, do not suffer alone. Many of us have suffered from depression directly and seen the direct consequences of it especially amongst young men who do not speak out.
